Invalidity insurance - Beneficiaries and conditions

Invalidity insurance helps pay the cost of heath care and provides wage-replacing benefits for employees who are temporarily forced to cease working due to being unfit for work.

Sickness benefits that last longer than one year can become invalidity benefits.

Depending on, among other things, the family situation, they amount to 40-65% of the gross hourly wage. Sickness and invalidity benefits are calculated on a daily basis.

Invalidity is determined by the Medical Council.
